We set names of sound devices in Windows 10

Very often, it happens that a PC user, in order to comfortably spend time at his computer, uses several audio devices. When he needs: “sound is around,” he uses speakers and a subwoofer, when he wants to listen to music and not interfere with anyone, then ordinary headphones from the phone are used, and when you need to talk to someone via video connection, you can use headphones with a microphone. It would seem that all this is trivial and simple, but as practice shows, the names of sound devices in Windows 10 are often, the average user is not completely clear and as a result, it is not very convenient to switch between them. In order to avoid such situations, we suggest you find out: “How can you customize the system so that the name of each connected audio device you ask yourself?” So you have the opportunity to clearly know which devices you are switching between and why act that way and not otherwise.

In fact, this procedure is very simple, but very few people use it and for this reason, most of you just get used to switching between the names of sound devices that are not understandable to you, although everything can be configured as follows: go to the Settings panel → go to “System” → open “Sound” → turn to the right part of the window and click on “Device Properties”.

It is important to remember that sound device names in Windows 10 can have not only numeric and alphabetic characters, but also various: punctuation marks, emoji, emoticons, and so on.
